I’ve recently started a new series of monoprints based on wildlife around me.
Working at the fabulous Curwen Print Study Centre in Suffolk, these are varied edition (each one is slightly different) mono prints done on an offset lithographic press.
Great fun to produce, the technique is very similar to painting – using broad rollers and bright colours to create expressive marks.
