I’m spending a couple of weeks travelling around Japan. In contrast to the first few days in mad mad Tokyo, I’ve spent the last two days relaxing in tranquil Hakone.  Staying in a traditional Ryokan – the original spa hotel with Onsen (hot spring baths).  Did a circular tour of the area yesterday taking in views of Mount Fuji.  Started on the railways then funicular, two cable cars and a pirate ship!

Not a lot of art done but I did take some spectacular photographs ….

Today I move onto Kyoto via the bullet train – might even try a spot of iPad drawing later?
