I recently spent an enjoyable afternoon in Mudeford Quay in Dorset with a bacon sandwich and a crab net; who knew crabs love bacon? I now have many gorgeous images for inspiration for my next set of oil paintings and the crabs were well-fed – they all scuttled back into the sea, sideways, hugging their tiny scraps of bacon ….
