Dapple-House-at-the-front-300x300

Since we moved in two years ago, Dapple House’s gardens have looked decidedly ‘rough’.  More weeds than flowers, no trees and a lot of mud!

Slowly slowly getting there … David and I have used wild flower lawn mix, planted many trees, put hedging in and encouraged the local wildlife with log piles for the insects and bees and hanging bird seed and fat balls … we have three bird boxes (one is home to an expectant blue tit) and two bat boxes.

We have an open weekend coming up, 22nd/ 23rd September do come along if you are in the Essex area for a peek.

Meanwhile here are a few photographs of the landscape now… [ape-gallery 2636]
